Do I need a gun cabinet?
Whether it be a pistol, rifle or shotgun, once you’ve completed the lengthy application form, the police will visit your property and inspect your storage facilities before granting you permission to even buy or own such a weapon.
In most cases, they will insist you have a gun cabinet that’s strong and secure, to ensure it cannot be removed in the event of attempted theft.
It’s worth noting that there are strict rules on gun storage. You need to make sure that your gun cabinet is not accessible to anyone without a license (including close friends and family) as, in the wrong hands, guns can be dangerous.

Does a gun cabinet have to be hidden?
