For Your Eyes Only' - Home Safes Keeping Your Important Documents Secure
Our homes contain a variety of important documents, containing sensitive information, and we can’t afford for them to be lost or damaged, or fall into the wrong hands.
From passports and driving licenses, to bank statements, bills, wills, insurance documents and deeds for your house, everybody has a variety of these things around the house, and everybody has their own system for looking after them too.

But if we’re honest, we don’t always look after these things as well as we should. That’s where home safes come in handy. You’ll always know that your important documents are safe, and you won’t have to dig through draws of takeaway menus to find them.
Home safes ensure confidentiality; and with key, combination or electronic locks you can safeguard your documentation in whichever way makes you most comfortable. Of course, theft is just one of the ways that a loss could take place. There is also the threat of a fire.
Thankfully, an array of
fireproof safes and filing cabinets are currently available which can offer an hour of fire protection or more. This is considered fine for home use. Greater temperature resistance and duration is available but is largely recommended for commercial use.
Many of the fireproof safes available here have been tested and certified by respected international organisations, such as the
European Security Systems Association (ESSA).
What’s more, not all important data is paper based. Before too long, our home computers, laptops and tablets are a goldmine of online banking information, unpublished novels and treasured memories.
Data safes and
laptop safes are specially designed to look after our valuable home electronics; and many offer proven fire protection, if worst comes to worst.
